SOCHI SCENE: Good Hair Day
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}For Magnus Krog of Norway, the secret to getting an Olympic medal is all in the hair.
Krog decided to dye his hair in the red-white-and-blue pattern of the Norwegian flag before the Sochi Games for good luck. Sporting the rather eye-catching look, Krog took bronze Wednesday in the Nordic combined normal hill event, his first medal at a major championships.
"I've seen a couple of Norwegians doing it before me at the past Olympics," Krog said about the patriotic hair-do. "So I thought before these Olympics, maybe it's smart to do some crazy things to your hair and maybe it brings luck. Obviously it works."
