Ricardo Lockette is expected to announce his retirement in a Seattle Seahawks press conference scheduled Thursday, FS1 NFL Insider Mike Garafolo reports.
The wide receiver suffered severe neck injuries after getting blocked illegally during Seattle's Week 8 game against the Dallas Cowboys last November.
Later, Lockette said had it not been for the care of the trainers and medics, "I would have died on that field."
