San Diego cuts Bigby
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}The San Diego Chargers have released veteran safety Atari Bigby, the team announced on Friday.
In 2012 -- his only season with the Chargers -- Bigby started the first 11 games before suffering a season-ending groin injury during a Week 12 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. He finished with 68 tackles, fourth most on the team.
The eight-year pro had spent his initial six NFL seasons with the Green Bay Packers and was a member of the Seattle Seahawks for one year prior to his stint in San Diego.
