Saints sign Frank Viola's son to pitch
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — The St. Paul Saints are hoping to hear some sweet music from their newest player.
The Saints of the independent American Association said Tuesday they've signed Frank Viola III, a right-handed pitcher and the 26-year-old son of former Minnesota Twins ace Frank Viola.
Viola III last pitched in 2007 with the Chicago White Sox organization. He hasn't pitched since then because of injury.
