DeMarcus Ware has agreed to a restructuring of his contract that will allow him to return to the defending Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos at a lower price next season, according to multiple reports.

Ware, 33, was originally scheduled to earn $7 million in salary along with a $3 million bonus for the 2016 season according to the Denver Post, but he will now take home a bonus of $2 million and play for a reduced base salary, with the opportunity to earn the full amount if certain incentives are reached.

Ware finished second on the team in sacks with 7.5 last season and added 3.5 more during a playoff run that ended with the Broncos winning Super Bowl 50. He has been with the Broncos for two seasons after spending his first nine with the Cowboys. He was a Pro Bowl selection for the ninth time in 2015.
