Reds reach deal with C Mesoraco
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Cincinnati, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - The Cincinnati Reds and catcher Devin Mesoraco have avoided salary arbitration, agreeing to a four-year contract extension on Monday.
According to multiple media outlets, including MLB.com, the deal is worth $28 million.
Mesoraco, 26, was an All-Star for the first time last season when he batted .273 with 25 home runs and 80 RBI over 114 games.
