Third baseman Pablo Sandoval has left Boston's game against Seattle with a bruised right elbow.
Sandoval homered in his first at-bat Saturday, and then was hit by Felix Hernandez with his first pitch leading off the third.
Sandoval was attended to by a team trainer for a while, but stayed in the game. He was replaced by Josh Rutledge in the lineup at the beginning of the fourth.

The Red Sox led 10-2 when Sandoval exited.
