Red Sox's Ramirez exits after running into wall
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Boston, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - Boston Red Sox left fielder Hanley Ramirez left Monday night's game against Tampa Bay with a sprained left shoulder after running into a padded wall in foul territory.
Ramirez crashed into the wall after chasing down James Loney's slicing fly ball near the left-field line. He initially made the catch but dropped the ball after the collision and winced before going to retrieve it.
Loney ended up with a double on the play and Ramirez was replaced in the field by Allen Craig.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Ramirez, who was signed last November, entered Monday in second place in the majors with 10 home runs.
The Rays won the game 5-1.
