QB Terrelle Pryor sits during open portion of Raiders practice with sprained right knee

Quarterback Terrelle Pryor did not take part in the open portion of the Oakland Raiders practice as he recovers from a sprained right knee.

Pryor was in a baseball cap and no pads Wednesday while undrafted rookie free agent Matt McGloin led the first-team offense at the start of practice.

Pryor hurt his knee in a loss to Philadelphia on Nov. 3 and struggled while playing through the injury in last week's 24-20 loss to the New York Giants. Pryor completed just 11 of 26 passes for 122 yards with one interception in his fourth straight sub-par performance.

McGloin played briefly in relief against the Eagles, completing 7 of 15 passes for 87 yards.
