Predators ink first-round draft pick
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Nashville, TN (SportsNetwork.com) - The Nashville Predators announced the signing of 2014 first-round draft choice, forward Kevin Fiala, to a three- year, entry-level contract on Tuesday.
Fiala, taken with the 11th pick, posted 11 points in 17 games for HV71 of the Swedish Hockey League.
The 17-year-old native of Switzerland participated for his home country in both the World Junior Championship and World Championship this past season.
