Person with knowledge of meeting to AP: Browns' Josh Gordon to have league hearing Aug. 1
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A person with knowledge of the meeting tells The Associated Press that Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon will have a hearing with NFL officials in New York on Aug. 1.
Gordon was arrested this month on charges of driving while intoxicated after speeding down a street in Raleigh, North Carolina. He was released on bail.
The 23-year-old player was suspended for two games last season for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. He still led the league with 1,646 yards receiving.
