Pepperell wins playoff for Challenge Tour title
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Eddie Pepperell managed par on the first playoff hole Sunday to defeat Jeppe Huldahl and win the Open Cotes d'Armor Bretagne.
Pepperell had carded a two-under 68 to finish regulation at three-under par 277. Huldahl managed a 70 to settle at the same score.
The pair then returned to the par-four 18th hole, where Huldahl drove his tee shot into the bushes. The Dane wasn't able to save par, while Pepperell got to the green in two, then two-putted for the victory.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}The English Pepperell, 21, earned his first Challenge Tour victory. Huldahl was denied his second win on tour.
Peter Baker (70) finished alone in third at minus-one, while three players shared fourth at even-par -- Mikko Korhonen (70), Ignacio Elvira (72) and Carlos Aguilar (75).
