Pelicans lose Davis, Gordon for rest of season
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}New Orleans, LA (SportsNetwork.com) - The New Orleans Pelicans will play the final week of the season without forward Anthony Davis and guard Eric Gordon.
Davis has been bothered by back spasms and a recent examination determined he needs a week of rest and rehabilitation, while Gordon will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his left knee next week.
In 67 games this season, all but one as a starter, Davis averaged 20.8 points, 10.0 rebounds and 2.8 blocks.
