Pavlyuchenkova to face Begu in Moscow final
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Moscow, Russia (SportsNetwork.com) - Irina-Camelia Begu and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova won their respective semifinal matches on Saturday at the Kremlin Cup.
The sixth-seeded Pavlyuchenkova beat Katerina Siniakova by a 6-2, 6-2 margin, while Begu upset fourth-seeded Czech Lucie Safarova 7-6 (7-5), 1-6, 6-3.
Pavlyuchenkova, the Paris Indoors winner back in February, lost in the semifinals of this event last year, falling to eventual champion Simona Halep. The Russian will play in her 10th career final on the WTA tour.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Begu will appear in her first final since beating Donna Vekic in Tashkent in 2012.
The 2014 Moscow champ will claim $120,000.
