Packers' Collins lost for season
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Green Bay Packers safety Nick Collins will miss the rest of the season with a neck injury.
The 28-year-old sustained the injury in the fourth quarter of Green Bay's 30-23 win in Carolina on Sunday when he attempted to tackle Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart. Collins was removed from the field on a stretcher and spent the night in a Charlotte hospital.
Packers head coach Mike McCarthy, during his Monday press conference, said it was too early to determine if Collins would require surgery.
