Pacers' Granger to miss three months
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Indiana Pacers forward Danny Granger is expected to miss three months after getting an injection to treat left patellar tendinosis, the team announced Wednesday.
Granger injured a tendon in his left knee in the team's second-round playoff loss last season to the Miami Heat. He aggravated the injury in offseason workouts.
He initially received a plasma injection on the injured knee in September and thought he could play through the pain, averaging 9.5 points and 2.5 rebounds in the Pacers' final two preseason games.
