Pacers finish strong to beat Bulls

Indianapolis, IN (SportsNetwork.com) - Solomon Hill had 16 points, five rebounds and three steals in the Indiana Pacers' 98-84 win over the Chicago Bulls on Friday.

Ian Mahinmi added 14 points and 11 rebounds off the bench for the Pacers, who have won a season-high four straight games. Rodney Stuckey tallied 12 points, seven rebounds and five assists, while David West contributed 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Pau Gasol ended with 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Bulls, who had a two- game winning streak snapped. Doug McDermott had a career-high 16 points and Mike Dunleavy recorded 14 points and nine rebounds.

Indiana outscored Chicago by a 32-18 margin in the fourth quarter. Ahead 77-74, the Pacers scored six straight points on Mahinmi's slam, C.J. Miles' 3- pointer and a C.J. Watson free throw.

The Bulls never got closer than seven the rest of the way.

The Pacers led 45-42 at the break and scored the first eight points of the second half. Solomon Hill and George Hill made 3-pointers around West's jumper to make it 53-42.

Chicago responded with a 12-2 surge to get within 55-54 with 6:07 remaining in the third quarter. The game was tied 66-66 entering the fourth.

Nikola Mirotic had 10 points and eight rebounds for the Bulls, who shot just 36 percent from the floor ... Indiana went 24-of-33 from the foul line ... Watson ended with 11 points ... The Bulls travel to San Antonio on Sunday, while the Pacers visit the New York Knicks on Saturday.
