Nylander nets goal in Maple Leafs' 4-0 preseason win over Flyers.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}William Nylander scored in the final minute to cap off the Toronto Maple Leafs' 4-0 preseason victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday night.
The 18-year-old Nylander, the No. 8 pick in this year's draft, is trying to make the team. The Maple Leafs have 17 forwards on one-way contracts but only 13 or 14 spots.
Nylander completed the scoring with 56.2 seconds left. He was robbed of a power-play goal in the second period by Flyers netminder Steve Mason.
