Norwich signs Martin to new three-year deal
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Norwich City inked defender Russell Martin to a new three-year contract Friday.
The 26-year-old Martin made 33 appearances in the English Premier League last season and the Scotland international has now committed his future to the club through the 2014-15 season.
"It's brilliant," Martin said. "I'm extremely delighted, my family and I are really happy around here. It's a pleasure and an honor to be playing for a club of this size and stature."
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Martin originally joined Norwich on loan in 2009-10 and has played 133 matches with the club.
