Kris Dunn had a tough road to becoming the No. 5 pick in the 2016 NBA Draft Thursday night.
He grew up separated from his father, had a turbulent childhood that included his mother spending time in jail and then, while in college at Providence, had to deal with the sudden news that his mother had passed away.
All of those emotions came rushing back to Dunn after the Minnesota Timberwolves drafted him with their first pick, and he broke down in tears in his draft interview.
