No. 24 DePaul women surge past West Virginia 77-63

Brittany Hrynko scored 21 points and Anna Martin added 19 as 24th-ranked DePaul came back in the second half to defeat West Virginia 77-63 Saturday after trailing by 14 at halftime.
The Blue Demons (20-7, 8-5 Big East) scored 53 points in the second half, while making 17 of 25 shots (68 percent). Hrynko was 4 of 5 from 3-point range in the second half.
The Mountaineers (19-7, 9-4), who had won their last five, including wins over ranked opponents Louisville, Notre Dame and Rutgers in their last three, shot 27.3 percent (9 of 33) in the second half.

DePaul began the second half with a 14-0 run as West Virginia went scoreless for the first 4:55.
Jasmine Penny added 16 points and Katherine Harry 15 for DePaul.
Christal Caldwell scored 16 points for West Virginia, and Ayana Dunning had 12 points and 14 rebounds.
