Nevada beats Div. II Fresno Pacific 119-70
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}RENO, Nev. (AP) Tyron Criswell scored 26 points off the bench as Nevada beat Division II Fresno Pacific 119-70 on Wednesday night.
Criswell finished with 9-of-10 shooting from the field and 8-of-8 from the line for the Wolf Pack (6-3). Cameron Oliver and Eric Cooper Jr. had 16 points apiece, Marqueze Coleman added 15 and Lindsey drew had 12.
The Wolf Pack climbed to a 15-5 lead midway through the first period on their way to a 46-29 advantage at the break. They had a 97-44 lead with 7:33 left in the game and cruised to the win.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Nevada averaged 59.7 percent shooting from the field, 76.5 percent from the line and hit 13 of 24 (54.2 percent) from beyond the arc. It also had a 60-24 rebounding edge over Fresno Pacific.
Spencer Krannitz led the Sunbirds with 17 points, three assists and three steals.
