Nephawe earns 2nd double-double of season, New Mexico State beats Louisiana-Lafayette 79-57

Tshilidzi Nephawe recorded his second double-double of the season with 10 points and 11 rebounds to lead New Mexico State over Louisiana-Lafayette in a 79-57 blowout Friday night.
New Mexico State (3-3) began the game with a 10-0 run capped off by a Nephawe dunk at the 16:44 mark. Shawn Long finally got the Ragin' Cajuns on the board with a 3-pointer shortly after Nephawe's dunk to make it 10-3, but the Aggies put the game away early with a 31-15 run to close out the first half.
The Aggies led by as many as 37 in the second half.

Four other players were in double figures for the Aggies with Bandja Sy netting 16 points while Kevin Aronis had 12 points, hitting three 3-pointers in 28 minutes off the bench. Tyrone Watson had 12 points and K.C. Ross-Miller had 11.
Steven Wronkoski had 16 points for Louisiana-Lafayette (2-3) in the loss.
