Last week, ESPN's Jake Trotter went in on Charlie Strong's recruiting strategy, pointing out that only one member of the vaunted "Florida Five" made it to campus. After a long wait that has dragged into the middle of training camp, the NCAA has made a ruling on a second Texas signee from the Sunshine State. Four star tight end Devonaire Clarington may still make it to Austin, but first he has to retake the ACT.

While it is good that the door is not totally shut on Clarington, taking the test in time to enroll at Texas this fall seems like it will be very difficult.
