Nats disable DeRosa, promote Moore
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}The Washington Nationals on Sunday placed infielder Mark DeRosa on the 15-day disabled list and recalled infielder/outfielder Tyler Moore from Triple-A Syracuse.
The 15-year veteran DeRosa, who was hitting just 3-for-37 (.081) in 13 games this season, was disabled retroactive to April 28 with a left oblique strain.
A premier prospect in the Nationals' system, Moore is being promoted out of necessity a day after Washington brought up top prospect Bryce Harper.
