Nationals put Pudge on 15-day DL with back strain
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}WASHINGTON (AP) — Nationals catcher Ivan Rodriguez is going on the 15-day disabled list with a lower back strain.
The move is being made Monday, and is retroactive to Sunday.
The 38-year-old Rodriguez is batting .325 with nine doubles, a homer and 16 RBIs in his first season with Washington.
