Murray wins Olympic second-rounder

The third-seeded British favorite handled Finnish veteran Jarkko Nieminen 6-2, 6-4 on the famed Centre Court at the All England Club. Murray lost to Swiss great Roger Federer in the Wimbledon final here earlier this month.
Former Australian Open runner-up Marcos Baghdatis upset 16th-seeded Frenchman Richard Gasquet 6-4, 6-4, as the Cypriot Baghdatis will battle Murray in his next outing.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Rain is currently falling and the roof is closed on Centre Court, where reigning Aussie and U.S. Open champion Novak Djokovic will take on three-time Wimbledon runner-up and fellow former No. 1 Andy Roddick of the United States. The Serbian Djokovic was an Olympic bronze medalist in Beijing four years ago.
