Muamba making 'strong, steady' progress
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Bolton says Fabrice Muamba is making "strong and steady improvements" while recovering from his on-field cardiac arrest during an FA Cup quarterfinal last month.
The former England Under-21 midfielder has been in London Chest Hospital since collapsing on March 17. His heart stopped beating on its own for 78 minutes while doctors worked to resuscitate him.
A joint statement from Bolton and the hospital gave the positive prognosis Friday, adding that he "remains in the intensive care unit."
