MLB sweeps series in Taiwan

The MLB stars faced Chien-Ming Wang, who signed with the Washington Nationals this past week and started for Chinese Taipei. Wang was held to a pitch count and reached it in the third inning before being removed.
Sunday's game was a back-and-forth contest that featured early runs. MLB had a 3-0 lead after the second inning, when Angels catcher Jeff Mathis singled in a run and teammate Erick Aybar followed with an RBI double.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Chinese Taipei evened the score, but the solo blast by the Yankees' Cano -- which came just after Wang left the game -- put MLB back on top.
The Chinese Taipei team evened the game again, but an RBI double by Marlins outfielder Logan Morrison and a solo homer by the Rockies' Wigginton gave the MLB stars enough runs to win.
Baltimore's Jeremy Guthrie started for MLB and allowed three runs in four innings.
