The New York Mets plan to announce a two-year contract extension for manager Terry Collins on Monday, multiple sources have told MLB.com.
The deal, which will also reportedly include an option for a third season, had yet to be finalized as of Saturday.
Collins' current contract is set to expire at the conclusion of this season. The 64-year-old has amassed a 224-260 record over his three years with the Mets, including a 73-87 mark entering the final two games of the current campaign.
