Men's Olympic Basketball Schedule: Top Teams Square Off As Group Play Winds Down
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Group play in the men's Olympic basketball tournament continues Saturday and the scheduled games could go a long way in determining which teams will advance to the quarterfinal.
The United States, fresh off their 83-point win over Nigeria, will take on Lithuania Saturday. Team USA sits atop the Group A standings while Lithuania is currently tied for fourth. The top four teams from each group advance to the quarterfinal, making this an important game for Lithuania.
The United States and Lithuania will play at 9:30 a.m. ET with the game being broadcast on the NBC Sports Network. It will also be available via an online stream at NBCOlympics.com.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}In Group B action, Russia and Spain will square off in a battle for the group lead. Both teams come in tied for first at 3-0. Their game is scheduled to begin at 6:15 a.m. and will be broadcast on the NBC Sports Network. The live stream of the Russia vs. Spain game can be found at NBCOlympics.com.
