Medlin, Butterfield each hit 4 3-pointers in Utah State's 73-61 win over UC Davis

Preston Medlin scored 23 points, including four 3-pointers, and Utah State earned a 73-61 victory over UC Davis on Friday night in the World Vision Basketball Challenge.

Utah State (8-1) also got four 3-pointers from Spencer Butterfield, who finished with 14 points. TeNale Roland added 11 points for the Aggies.

Utah State was 12 of 22 from 3-point range for the game.

UC Davis (3-7) led by 7 points midway through the first half and 1 at the break, but Utah State got its act together in the second half.

Ryan Sipkens scored 12 points to lead UC Davis. Corey Hawkins and Clint Bozner each scored 11, and Ryan Howley grabbed 12 rebounds.
