Marlins recall Hand, Hatcher
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}The Miami Marlins have recalled pitchers Brad Hand and Chris Hatcher from Triple-A New Orleans.
Hand is scheduled to start the first game of Friday's doubleheader against the Nationals. He will be making his first appearance in the majors this season after going 1-8 for the Marlins in 2011.
The left-hander went 8-5 with a 3.66 ERA in 22 starts for New Orleans this year.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Hatcher has appeared in two games for Miami this season.
The Marlins also optioned pitcher Dan Jennings to New Orleans. He was 1-0 with a 3.27 ERA in 11 games.
