Marlins activate Eovaldi from paternity leave
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Miami, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Miami Marlins activated pitcher Nathan Eovaldi from the paternity list on Wednesday.
Eovaldi is 4-2 with a 3.50 ERA in 14 starts this season.
The right-hander started Friday against the Pirates and allowed six runs on 10 hits over 4 2/3 innings. He then flew home to Texas on Sunday to be with his wife, Rebekah, who was scheduled to be induced later that day.
