Marcos Ambrose returns to V8 Supercar racing in Australia after nearly a decade in US
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Marcos Ambrose will return to V8 Supercars racing for the first time in nearly a decade when he competes in the season-ending Sydney 500 on Sunday.
Ambrose will race in the series for the first time since 2005 as a wild-card entry for Dick Johnson Racing.
The two-time V8 champion has spent the past nine years racing in NASCAR, but has returned to Australia to lead the DJR Team Penske's racing team next year.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Ambrose says Thursday that "we've got to keep expectations in check, but I don't have anything to prove to anybody ... for us, it's all about getting ready for 2015."
