Maple Leafs sign trio of players
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}The Toronto Maple Leafs signed forward Matt Frattin to a two-year contract on Sunday. The club also inked forward Ryan Hamilton and goaltender Jussi Rynnas to one-year deals.
Frattin, 24, registered eight goals and seven assists in 56 games for the Leafs last season.
The 27-year-old Hamilton made his NHL debut with Toronto during the 2011-12 season, collecting an assist in two games. He netted a team-leading 25 goals and ranked second with 51 points in 74 games for the Maple Leafs' AHL affiliate, the Toronto Marlies.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Rynnas also made his NHL debut last season, playing in two games for the Leafs. The 25-year-old posted an 11-9-1 record with three shutouts and a 2.55 goals-against average in 22 games for the Marlies.
