Lions sign OL Reynolds

Allen Park, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - The Detroit Lions signed offensive lineman Garrett Reynolds on Wednesday.

Reynolds spent training camp with the Lions and played both tackle and guard. He started 23 of 42 games over five seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, who selected him in the fifth round of the 2009 NFL Draft.

The Lions also placed cornerback Bill Bentley on injured reserve. He suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament early in Detroit's season-opening 35-14 victory over the New York Giants on Monday night.
