Lehigh breaks home losing streak to Ivy League opponents with 35-22 win over Princeton
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Alex Wojdowski caught two touchdown passes in the fourth quarter and Lehigh snapped a seven-game losing streak against Ivy League opponents Saturday with a 35-22 win over Princeton.
Wojdowski scored on an 18-yard pass from running back Jay Campbell with 13:14 to play and a 12-yard pass from quarterback Michael Colvin with 2:56 left as the Mountain Hawks (2-1) beat the Tigers (0-1) at home for the first time since 2002.
Chris Lum and Sean Farrell rushed for touchdowns and Jake Peery kicked two field goals as Lehigh led 20-19 after three quarters. Campbell was the Mountain Hawks' leading rusher with 79 yards on 21 carries, and Colvin completed 10 of 14 passes for 128 yards.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Princeton quarterback Tommy Wornham completed 32 of 51 passes for 392 yards, including an 80-yard touchdown to Trey Peacock. The Tigers had 528 yards total offense to Lehigh's 327.
