He's part of arguably the greatest shooting backcourt in NBA history, but even Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson needs a good luck charm every now and then.

Thompson hit an NBA playoff record 11 3-pointers to save the Warriors' season and chances at repeating as NBA champs in their 108-101 win over the Thunder on Saturday. But if you thought the 41-point outburst was purely the product of Thompson's picture-perfect shooting stroke, think again.

"I brought my Yoda socks to bring out my Jedi powers," Thompson told The Vertical after the game.

The Yoda socks might not be the most fashionable of footwear, but they definitely got the job done for Thompson on Saturday.

Thompson hit 11 of 18 from deep as the Warriors shot 48 percent from beyond the arc while the Thunder struggled, hitting just 3 of 23 attempts.

Thanks to Thompson's epic performance, the Warriors are now one win from completing a 3-1 series comeback against the Thunder. The series goes back to Oracle, where the defending champs are hoping to advance to the NBA Finals for a rematch with LeBron James and the Cavaliers.
