Khabib Nurmagomedov is back and in a serious way.

After a near two-year absence, Nurmagomedov returned to the Octagon on Saturday at UFC on FOX Fight Night in Tampa and showed off why he's arguably the best 155-pound fighter in the world. He made that clear to opponent Darrell Horcher midway through the first round when he took the UFC newcomer down with a slam that would make Matt Hughes proud.

Despite Nurmagomedov's dominant showing, his original opponent for UFC on FOX Fight Night in Tampa, Tony Ferguson was not impressed by his performance. Considering Nurmagomedov will leave Tampa relatively unscathed, there's probably a good chance we'll get to see the pair of talented lightweight face off in the next couple months.
