Kemp earns NL Player of the Week honors
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp was named the National League Player of the Week on Monday.
In six games last week, Kemp hit .409 (9-for-22) with five home runs and nine RBI while pacing the NL with a 1.091 slugging percentage. He added a stolen base and six runs scored.
This is Kemp's fifth career weekly honor.
