Kansas State's Samuels sits Saturday's NCAA tourney game

Kansas State played Saturday's NCAA Tournament game against Syracuse without forward Jamar Samuels because of an eligibility issue.

Samuels is Kansas State's second-leading scorer and top rebounder, averaging 10.0 points and 6.6 rebounds in 30 games.

The senior had just one point and eight rebounds in Kansas State's 70-64 win over Southern Mississippi in the second round on Thursday.
