Judge OKs bond for Yankees GM's stalking suspect
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A woman accused of stalking New York Yankees general manager Brian Cashman is poised to get out of jail after five months behind bars.
Prosecutors and a Manhattan judge signed off Thursday on Louise Neathway's (NEETH'-wayz) $300,000 bond package. Neathway was still in custody while authorities worked out some legal technicalities. She could be released later Thursday.
She'll have to wear an ankle monitor.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Neathway has been held since her February arrest. Prosecutors say she stalked Cashman and squeezed $6,000 from him by threatening to hurt his reputation. She says they had a consensual affair.
She's also facing a slate of other charges ranging from harassing her ex-husband to lying on an apartment application. She has pleaded not guilty to all of them.
