Jets' Vick says NFL Commissioner Goodell doing 'great job' during rough stretch for league

New York Jets quarterback Michael Vick says Commissioner Roger Goodell is doing "a great job" while the NFL deals with several off-field issues.
Vick says Thursday that some situations are "more complicated than others," adding that the right decision isn't going to be made immediately every time. The backup quarterback says Goodell needs to be given a chance "to get it right."
Goodell, the league and its teams have come under heavy criticism during the past two weeks over how they are dealing with several players facing domestic violence allegations.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Vick was reinstated to the league by Goodell in 2009 after serving nearly two years in prison for his role in a dog fighting ring. He thinks "in due time" the issues the NFL is facing will be "cleaned up."
