Jaguars' Gabbert questionable for Sunday
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert is listed as questionable for Sunday's season opener against Kansas City.
Gabbert is dealing with a thumb injury that kept him out the final two weeks of the preseason. The Missouri product took most of the repetitions in practice Friday after practicing on a limited basis Wednesday and Thursday.
The 23-year-old Gabbert started 10 games last year for the Jaguars and completed 162-of-278 passes for 1,662 yards, nine touchdowns and six interceptions.

Tight end Marcedes Lewis was ruled out after missing practice for a second consecutive day. He aggravated a calf injury on Wednesday that kept him out of three preseason games. Allen Reisner likely will start in place of Lewis.
