Jaguars add RB Banyard to active roster

With the Jacksonville Jaguars hurting a running back heading into Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills in London, the team promoted veteran back Joe Banyard for the practice squad, per the Florida Times-Union.
Starter T.J. Yeldon missed last week's loss to the Houston Texans with a groin injury and is uncertain for this week, as is backup Bernard Pierce who sat out with a concussion. The Jaguars also lost rookie Corey Grant, who placed on season-ending injured reserve on Tuesday with hip injury.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Banyard played in 18 games over two years with with Minnesota Vikings, running for 88 yards on 21 carries. He also caught 10 passes for 73 yards.
