Jags release LB Allen
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Jacksonville, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Jacksonville Jaguars released linebacker Russell Allen on Thursday.
Allen, who was originally signed as an undrafted rookie on Apr. 26 2010, played in 78 games -- 44 starts -- over five seasons with the Jags and tallied 64 tackles last year.
He led Jacksonville with 131 tackles in 2012.
