In the FCS Huddle: Week 5 results likely to shake up rankings
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Ten teams in The Sports Network/Fathead.com FCS Top 25 lost this weekend, which could lead to a bit of a shakeup in the rankings.
While Georgia Southern and Northern Iowa should retain first and second, respectively, the rest of the Top 10 is likely to be shuffled. Appalachian State (No. 3), Delaware (No. 6) and Richmond (No. 10) all lost.
The Mountaineers should remain in the Top 10 because they lost to Wofford (No. 8), but the Blue Hens, who lost to unranked Maine, and the Spiders, who struggled to even score against James Madison, likely will drop out of the Top 10.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}William & Mary (No. 11) and Lehigh (No. 13) are most likely to jump into the Top 10, especially with Southern Illinois' loss to Western Illinois.
Chattanooga lost to The Citadel, Southern Utah lost to North Dakota, Massachusetts lost to Old Dominion and South Carolina State lost to Norfolk State in the other unranked over Top 25 team upsets. Towson lost to Maryland and Sacramento State fell to No. 4 Montana State.
With wins against Top 25 teams, Maine and Old Dominion could jump into the rankings. In addition, Tennessee Tech stands on the verge of its first ranking since 2001.

New Hampshire's three wins this season have come in dramatic fashion as the trend continued in a 39-32 win against Holy Cross. Wildcats quarterback Kevin Decker found Justin Mello for a 60-yard touchdown with just 1:10 remaining.
Earlier this season, New Hampshire beat Lehigh, 48-41, in overtime in Week 2, then won at Richmond in another high-scoring game, 45-43. While it's a positive that New Hampshire has been able to win close games, the fact the Wildcats have allowed 43.5 points a game is a major concern.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}LUM PASSES FOR 300 YARDS ... AGAIN
Lehigh quarterback Chris Lum extended his streak of passing for at least 300 yards in a game to six straight (including all five games this season) with a 378-yard, three-touchdown performance in a 37-7 win against Yale.
Not an initial member of the Walter Payton Award (sponsored by Fathead.com) Watch List, Lum has forced himself into the discussion, completing 65.7 percent of his passes for 1,809 yards and 19 touchdowns.

APPALACHIAN STATE'S OFFENSE STRUGGLES AGAIN
After scoring 99 points combined in Week 2 and 3, Appalachian State has gone in reverse, failing to find the end zone in a win against Chattanooga last week and then being held to just 247 yards and two touchdowns this week in a 28-14 loss to Wofford.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Luckily for the Mountaineers, they're entering a bye week and should have extra time to fix the offense before visiting The Citadel, a team that has been impressive on defense this season.
STAT OF THE WEEK
Despite being a first-year program, Texas-Antonio was expected to have a decent level of success this season, especially with a BCS championship- winning coach, Larry Coker, and the fact the Roadrunners are joining the FBS next season.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}However, it's been the opposite for the Roadrunners, as they've struggled to a 2-3 season. Both of UTSA's wins have come against lower level opponents - Northeastern State and Bacon College - while the Roadrunners have lost by a combined 67-29 to FCS teams.
TEAM OF THE WEEK
Maine defeated Delaware, 31-17, finally getting that win against a CAA opponent to go with a near upset of Pittsburgh.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A very consistent team, the Black Bears have won each FCS game they have played this season by 14 or more points. They will be tested next weekend at James Madison.
PARTING SHOTS
North Dakota State's offense looked rather pedestrian for the first time this season. However, the Bison still easily handled Illinois State, 20-10 ... Monmouth shot itself in the foot often against Robert Morris, committing 13 penalties for 136 yards in a 23-20 loss. Monmouth had committed just 14 total penalties in its first three games ... Elon wide receiver Aaron Mellette has caught a touchdown in six consecutive games ... Northern Iowa coach Mark Farley won his 55th Missouri Valley Conference game - making him the winningest coach in conference history - when the Panthers beat Missouri State, 42-7 ... Austin Peay , which rallied to beat Tennessee State, 37-34, is 2-0 in the Ohio Valley Conference for the first time since 1977 ... Penn defeated Dartmouth, 22-20, in the first night game at Memorial Field in Hanover, N.H. ... Liberty won for the 200th time in program history with a 57-0 shutout of Kentucky Wesleyan ... Defending FCS champion Eastern Washington collected its first win of the season, 27-21 against Weber State ... Making his first career start at quarterback, James Madison's Jace Edwards led a Dukes offense that scored 31 points in a win against Richmond.
