Hernandez takes title from Porpramook

Adrian Hernandez took the WBC light flyweight title away from Kompayak Porpramook with a sixth-round stoppage Saturday night.

Hernandez (25-2-1, 16 KOs) sent Porpramook (46-4) to the canvas in the third round and again in the sixth.

Porpramook won the first encounter between the fighters on Dec. 23, 2011 via 10th-round KO.
