Hartford holds off Niagara late, get 65-62 road win

Wesley Myers drilled a 3-pointer in the final minute to pull Niagara within a field goal, 61-59, but Hartford answered on a tip-in by Moore to make it 63-59 with :23 left.
The Hawks (3-1) shot 48 percent from the field and were 9 of 16 from three-point range while collecting 26 points in the paint and collecting 14 more off of Niagara turnovers.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Karonn Davis and Emile Blackman scored 17 and 15 points, respectively, to lead the Purple Eagles (1-2). Niagara shot 42 percent from the field on 21-of-50 shooting, 6 of 18 from behind the arc, but just 14 of 23 from the free-throw line.
